Teen Scout — Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 24, 2026
Teen Scout ("we," "us," "the app") is a personal organizer and wellness companion for teens aged 13 and up. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. We built Teen Scout to keep your information private and in your control.
Who can use Teen Scout — Teen Scout is intended for users 13 years of age and older. We do not knowingly create accounts for children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
What we collect
We do not collect location, contacts, or browsing history, and we do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
How we use your information
Your data is yours
Where your data lives — Teen Scout stores data using our backend provider (Base44) on secure servers. Subscription processing is handled by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat. The Scout AI feature sends your message text to our AI provider to generate responses.
Sensitive information — Period tracking and mood/feelings entries are personal. They are stored privately under your account, used only to show you your own information in the app, and are never sold or shared for advertising.
Crisis support — Teen Scout is not a medical or crisis service. If you are struggling, please talk to a trusted adult or contact a crisis line such as the Crisis Text Line (text HOME to 741741 in the US).
Changes — We may update this policy as the app evolves. We'll post the new date at the top and, for significant changes, notify you in the app.
